Biography
Echols began his professional career as an environmental consultant. His expertise and experiences were augmented by his geography, geoscience, and safety management education. He has worked in various industries, including construction, oil and gas, healthcare, education, and general industry, which has broadened his field experience.

Due to his extensive construction background, Echols was the ideal candidate to coordinate projects and develop into Benchmark's subject matter expert (SME) for fall protection and scaffolding. He has supported clients in diverse industries on construction sites, focusing on enhancing worker safety through effective oversight.
​
Echols also assists a wide variety of clients with environmental compliance. He is accomplished in submitting Tier II reporting, Toxic Release Inventory, Certified Emission Statements, NPDES permit applications, modifications, and renewals. Echols also helped federal agencies develop Environmental Assessments/Environment Impact Statements.
​
In addition to his safety and environmental initiatives responsibilities, Echols also serves as an industrial hygienist. He regularly conducts area and personal sampling to assess chemical and noise exposures and conducts indoor air quality studies. Echols coordinates asbestos projects and is a licensed Asbestos Management Planner, Building Inspector, and Air Clearance Monitor in West Virginia. With his diverse skill set and wide-ranging knowledge, Echols is a valuable resource for clients across different industries.
