EHS Specialist

Shonna’s career in safety and health was launched by earning a baccalaureate degree in the field followed by a master’s degree in Industrial & Labor Relations. She has worked in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, mining, oil and gas (O&G), and environmental engineering. Her commitment to safety is evidenced through her exemplary communication skills with employees and management as well as her ability to build safety-focused relationships with clients.

Shonna embraces new tasks and responsibilities without hesitation. In the O&G fields, she managed multiple sites and was committed to fostering change through communication and employee buy-in of safety initiatives. While working for Mylan, she acted as a liaison between management and the union to ensure safety consensus on both sides. Her diverse educational and work background affords her a unique skillset when communicating with and managing workers.
